Where do you get your inspiration from? Hmm, tough question. I am a rather nostalgic person, so anything that
can get me in that frame of mind certainly influences me. On the other
hand, new rap music is something I listen to as well. Most of it is
tripe, I admit, but some producers are true sample masters and it's very
inspriring to listen to their beats.
As for the way to express my inspiration, it's mostly thru other music
and movies, particularly from the late sixties/seventies decade. The
golden age of music production as far as I'm concerned.
Any new releases on the way?
I am working on tracks for a new EP, but there is a lot to be done
still. I don't have the luxury of being able to work on my music
full-time unfortunately. So I'm aiming for a release in the last months
of 2008, but it will problably be in the beginning of next year.
What are you listening to at the moment? You mean, besides my own tracks? ;) Right now I'm listening to Guilty
Simpson's album: "Ode to the Ghetto", which has some great beats on it.
Also I have Pete Rock's new album in my playlist. And other than that,
seventies music!
