Where do you get your inspiration from?
Almost anything to be honest. 'Satellites' is about the being in the 'infinite loop' of a 9 to 5 job. 'Broken' is about addiction and
the title track is about someone in a coma . It all sounds a bit dark, I guess, but that's the sort of stuff I write. I'll often start with a title and some rough lyrics and take it from there. Other times you'll come up with a sound or rhythm that dictates the mood of the track.

Any new releases on the way?                                              I only finished this album in October 2008 so nothing new for a little while, maybe some remixes. The album is a free download from www.paulberrymusic.co.uk or via www.myspace.com/paulberryuk. My previous album 'Parallel' is on iTunes, Amazon etc. I'm looking to play some gigs later this year so I'll be concentrating on that for a while.

What are you listening to at the moment?                             I quite like Nine Inch Nails and watched the 'Beside you in time' live DVD the other night; a bit heavy but there's some great tracks on it. Little Boots is good, in fact I'm going to see her live tomorrow night. I think Depeche Mode have an album out soon so I'm sure I'll be listening to that too. There's lots of great unsigned bands on the web and I often listen to what they are doing on sites like MySpace.

Paul Berry is a  UK based solo artist, his latest work "Slow motion Pictures" is available for free in his site (link above). We have been listening to this release for a while and it's easy to fall in love with every single track. We specially like "The echo of your voice", amazing track, not a bad way to start a great album, well donne! Great voice and synth work on this release, you should definitely ad "Slow motion pictures" to your playlist. There are great releases on the net these days and this is one of them.
